To some, talking about funeral rites and passages are taboo. To others, the conversation is a source of curiosity, practicality and/or reflective of one’s own spirituality. If you have had an advance care planning conversation with us, you also know we ask about your burial preferences in order to make it easier for the ones you leave behind. This class will answer all sorts of questions about the somewhat newer (and some ancient!) practices of home funerals and natural burials. From the definitions of the various burial choices (including water/marine reef placement) to legal requirements, environmental impact and involvement of family and friends, this is an evening you won’t forget!
